Gardener’s World
When Mr and Mrs Crabtree opened their first care home their top priority was to create the sort of environment they would be happy for their own parents to live in.
This ethos is still maintained today and can be seen in the faces of all our residents. Their happiness and well-being is our primary goal and we go to great lengths to deliver, from creating interesting, healthy and nutritional menus, to providing regular entertainment and pampering.
Residents in our homes enjoy freedom, privacy and respect.

Park House
For over 300 years Park House has been an important community presence in the picturesque conservation village of Worsbrough, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Initially, Park House was a farm house but as the village built up around it Park House became a private dwelling. In time, it became the local school house and the old school bell still remains in situ on the north facing gable end.
We sympathetically renovated Park House to give it a ‘county cottage’ homely feel. The inside of the house is full of interesting little nooks and crannies, and we have put a great deal of thought into the furnishings to create surroundings our residents are familiar and comfortable with.
The Gardens
The Park House gardens are surrounded by mature trees and are a pleasure to enjoy all year around more recently we have created our own organic vegetable patch.
Easy access to the well maintained lawns and flower gardens at Park House. provide an ideal setting for our residents to relax. Alternatively an enjoyable afternoon spent amongst the fruit trees is available.
